BMW replaced the gateway module and reprogrammed the vehicle.  BMW will very commonly repurchase cars to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Most importantly, the BMW warranty remains on this until 04/20/2017, or 50k miles. This car was a manufacturer buy back car.
